
Many people enjoy pottery classes, whether it be for the creative thrill, the enjoyment of working and creating something with ones hands, or for focus and relaxation.
Classes are typically unstructured, but Suzanne will introduce you to various techniques over the weeks for you to experience and experiment. These will include construction techniques such as

The pottery studio is well equipped, and will support almost any sort of pottery
technique (apart from salt & soda glazing). On an occasional basis there will be
opportunities for pots to be fired in more unusual ways -
Classes are kept to an absolute maximum of 8 people at any one time, in order to
ensure that facilities are not over-
Classes are on a drop-
Class fees are set to include the costs of all materials (clay, glazes, etc.) and our time and electricity costs for firing of pottery items, and are currently set at £7.50 per hour (I.e. £15 for two hours). We do ask students to clear up their tools and workspace before you leave, however we do not expect you to do this within you paid class time.
Suzanne currently runs regular weekly day and evening classes in the pottery on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Evenings, starting at 19:30 (7:30pm) and finishing at 21:30 (9:30pm) and on a Tuesday morning starting at 10:00 and running through till 13:00 (1:00pm).
